Reading is an addiction. Whether by hearing, touch or sight, for many it is a necessity.
Fact - Children love stories.
Pondering - If every child on this planet, from their earliest years, were immersed every day in the same stories of heroes/heroines and adventures of good overcoming evil, what kind of adults would they grow up to be?
Fact – There are too many books nowadays and when the market is flooded with a product, its value goes down.
I love reading but there are not many books that entice me back. One that does, and I’m reading it for the 3rd time, is, Alex by Pierre Lemaitre. It’s a crime thriller, it’s a police procedural, call it what you will. It’s a good read. The language is clean. I’ve not noticed any typos. It's very well written. And only as the plot unfolds do you find out who is who and who did what. I have the English translation 😊.
There are many ways to tell a story. It doesn’t bother me if I'm reading a book that's already revealed who did the crime. And I love plots that unravel cases.
What particular book/s have you returned to the most?
