As an active recycler and keen amateur gardener, I like to help my plants. And me too of course. Homegrown vegetables are exceptionally tasty. I've had great success with my runner beans and strawberries this year and I'm keen to grow them again next year.
My idea for raising my courgette off the soil made me giggle and drew a few laughs from friends, but it worked. I saved it from the slugs.
I haven't picked it yet but reckon it isn't going to get any bigger. Not sure whether it will be used and consumed as an Asian dish or British. It is wonderful to have a choice.
