Fetish?

The pictures may be a bit confusing - at least they are to me, and I put them together!

Immediate top left is a before my runner bean growing strip was widened, as can be seen at bottom left. In the top middle is my lettuce growing happily for the first time ever. No explanation for the one below it - me enjoying fish and chips at Whitby. Top right is my poor dining table ladened with seedling trays and bottom right is my home cooked dinner. The red kidney bean curry and rice is complemented with homemade yogurt and that lettuce was freshly picked minutes before.

Not bad.

As to my fetish...it is seed buying. I can't help it. I'm buying seeds I'm never likely to be able to grow. Either because I don't have the space in my garden, ie sweetcorn, or the British weather just won't allow it and I don't have a greenhouse. Last week I bought 23 packets, a few of rocket and beetroot, but mainly salad (have you seen the price of lettuce?!). They were on offer at 40p per packet at Poundstretchers.

Is it a fetish?
