Just over two months ago we were waiting for Christmas. I for one won't forget it because I fell off the ladder while putting up the decorations. No, I hadn't been drinking :).
Then it was New Year and then...just like in the film, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, 'Where did everybody go?' But we did have a great time. Years ago it was about the presents, not anymore.
The television was on a substantial amount with us consuming old favourites such as Elf, The Holiday, Vicar of Dibley (The Christmas episode is very funny and watched every year along with the one in which she gets married).
What else did we enjoy together? Good, old fashioned board games. Scrabble came out as did Monopoly. We played cards quite a lot. Sadly for me, if the television's on in the background, I'm guaranteed to lose.
We enjoyed Taboo so much that it is still out and used almost every day. We've already agreed that for Christmas 2022, the Pictionary should make an appearance.
Any other recommendations?
Gosh ... ALF! Now if all aliens are that much fun, let them arrive already. Of course, it will be a wee lil problem with cats.
