To invigorate my writing mojo, I've prepared a fortnightly schedule. Mondays to Fridays, walking and editing, obviously not at the same time. Saturday and Sunday a minimum of one social media post, and a flash fiction story to add to my Vicious Vignettes collection. And what should be the creme-de-la-creme, the BLOG post.
So far everything has been like pulling teeth. I'm not an eager beaver to get on with earning my 'tick'. I've considered rewards, but this is a well travelled road and I know where all the pot holes are hidden.
The sequel to Seven Stops has been in the pipeline...was it before paper was invented? Anyway, I finished the draft oodles ago. I really love the title, Silent Steps, because it didn't give me any grief.
My original idea was to have seven books in this STOP series. I managed the stop part.
Seven Stops has loads of references to '7' including seven characters. It ends with five, (murder, murder). Silent Steps is picking up where the first book ended, with hope. It's taking the remaining protagonists/antagonists on the next leg of their journey to its conclusion.
This sequel has been a hard slog. And the pleasure? One of the five will die. But at least it's not me!
Murder by alliteration!
